What the tools are
Each tool applies a documented model to the figures you enter and returns an estimate, a comparison or a planning route. Every tool states its assumptions, its limitations, the date its rules were last reviewed and the primary sources behind it. Those statements are part of the result and should be read with it.
Results are produced from your inputs alone. Verdanyx does not know your property, your accounts, your contracts or your circumstances, and the model cannot capture every case.
Estimates are not official determinations
A grant amount, eligibility outcome, fee, tariff, rating or regulatory route shown here is a modelled indication. It is not a decision by SEAI, the HSE, the EPA, a local authority, a bank, a payment provider, an energy supplier or any other body, and it does not bind them.
Schemes, prices, rates, thresholds and rules change, sometimes without notice and sometimes retrospectively. A result that was accurate on its review date can be wrong today. Before you commit money or sign anything, confirm the position directly with the relevant authority or provider, and apply for and receive any approval before starting work where the scheme requires it.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is financial, tax, legal, insurance, medical, building-engineering, electrical or health-and-safety advice, and no professional relationship is created by using it. Where a decision carries real risk — structural work, electrical installation, radon remediation, food safety, regulated business activity, or a large financial commitment — obtain advice from a suitably qualified person who can assess your actual situation.
Safety instructions supplied with any product or installation take precedence over anything modelled here.

Provider names, fees and product information are included so that a comparison is meaningful. They are drawn from published rate cards, scheme documents and public sources at the stated review date. Verdanyx is not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for any provider named in a comparison, and provider terms may differ for your account, sector or negotiated rate.
External links lead to independent websites. Verdanyx does not control their content, availability or accuracy. Where a link is commercial it is disclosed at the point of the link and in the affiliate disclosure. Commercial arrangements never change a formula, a ranking or a recommendation.
Acceptable use
The tools are provided for personal and ordinary business use. Do not attempt to extract the underlying rule sets, datasets or calculation logic by automated means, and do not submit automated request volumes to the calculation endpoints. Request limits and platform protections are applied to those endpoints.
Content, wording, models and datasets on this site remain the property of the site operator. Quoting a result with attribution is welcome; republishing tools or their underlying data is not.
Availability and liability
The site is provided on an “as is” basis. No warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate will match an official figure. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for loss arising from reliance on a result, from a change in an external scheme or price, or from the unavailability of the site.
Nothing here excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing affects the statutory rights of a consumer under Irish or EU law.
Corrections
If a rule, rate or calculation is wrong, report it. Useful corrections are reproduced, checked against a primary source and reflected in the tool's review date. See the contact page and the methodology.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from use of this site are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EEA, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.
