Why Verdanyx exists
Important decisions are often buried under eligibility rules, tariffs, technical units and provider small print. Verdanyx is built to make those decisions easier to inspect. Each tool asks only for information that can change the answer, returns a personalised result and explains the assumptions and limits around it.
Who is responsible for the site
Verdanyx is independently created, operated and maintained from Ireland. It is not a government service, regulator, grant authority or provider comparison business. The site operator is responsible for editorial choices, calculation design, testing, reviews and corrections. Data-controller information is provided in the privacy notice.
How tools are researched and tested
Official agencies, regulators, scheme owners, legislation and provider price schedules are preferred over summaries. Important rules are translated into explicit calculations, then checked against representative cases and boundary conditions. Every tool shows its principal sources, review date, assumptions and limitations. The complete process is described in the methodology and source policy.
Editorial and commercial independence
A commercial relationship must not change a formula, eligibility result, ranking or recommendation. If relevant affiliate links are introduced, they are labelled and placed after the impartial result. The current policy is set out in the affiliate disclosure.
Corrections and accountability
Rates and rules change, and a useful site needs a clear correction route. Each tool states when it was last reviewed and links to the evidence used. If a source has changed, an assumption is unclear or a result appears wrong, use the corrections and contact page. Reports should identify the tool, the disputed figure or rule, and the primary source that supports the correction where possible.
