Source hierarchy
We prefer official scheme owners, Irish regulators, government bodies, primary technical guidance and first-party provider pricing. Secondary sources may help explain a topic, but should not silently override a primary source.
Dates and changing rules
Every tool shows a last-reviewed date and an intended review cadence. Grant amounts, eligibility criteria, tariffs and regulatory information are treated as time-sensitive. The official linked source remains authoritative if it has changed since our review.
Planning assumptions
Some questions require a representative value where no single official answer exists. These values are labelled as assumptions, kept separate from scheme rules and surfaced again with the result when they matter.
